It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of “The Great Canadian” Jim Flaherty. Jim and friends have traveled with us over the past decade and he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. The great send off he has received in Toronto has been fitting to a man who is known for sacrificing so much for his country. His connection with Ireland was strong and this was evident by the songs played throughout his state funeral. The golf courses of Ireland will be a lesser place without Jim this summer and may he rest in peace.
